Thermographic camera & drone
Poor insulation of either building envelope or energy consuming assets can lead to uncontrollable energy losses. Conventional methods to estimate these losses, based on theoretical calculations are often unreliable. The R2M team can accurately characterise the thermal behaviour of your building and assets through a complete thermographic analysis, making use of the drone for inaccessible areas.
Energy audit for SMEs/PMIs
Energy audit is not only for big and energy consuming companies. The Italian Government is currently financing energy audits for Small & Medium Enterprises (visit website). Contact us if you do not want to miss this opportunity.
Blower Door Test
The Blower door test is a diagnostic test to determine a building airtightness and it is often conducted during audit and diagnosis. A calibrated fan is mounted on an exterior door; the fan pulls air into the house, pressurizing it proportionally to the level of airtightness/infiltration of the building, which is inversely proportional to the magnitude of cracks and leaks in the envelope. Reasons for establishing the proper building tightness include:
This test can be coupled with a thermal imaging camera to determine where the leaks are located.
Assess requirements and define best strategies for compliance with DLgs 102/2014 or other Regulations.
Prepare the ground for the data collection and audit activities by identifying and involving all relevant stakeholders.
Collect consumption and all relevant data from the client, the energy suppliers or through local measurement campaigns.
Conduct a full visit of the site(s) to further collect data and identify most adequate cost-saving opportunities and best practices.
Analyse data and prepare a full report including list of identified recommendations for energy efficiency.
Present results of the audit activities and support the client with the communication with the compliance authority.
