ReBoat aims to activate a local demand for sustainable waste reuse, empowering citizens, tourists, designers, and artisans to collaboratively shape circular solutions. It promotes inclusive innovation by turning island ecosystems into open-air laboratories where waste becomes a valuable resource. By hosting events on board and capturing lessons learned, the project supports the replication of its model in other rural and peripheral areas across Europe.

R2M Solution plays a key role in the ReBoat project as Exploitation Manager, leading the strategy to maximize the project’s impact, sustainability, and market uptake. R2M is also responsible for the IT development of a waste-tracking app, which will digitally monitor the flow of collected plastics and textiles, ensuring transparency, traceability, and data-driven decision-making across the recycling process. In addition, R2M contributes with its expertise in digital innovation through the integration of AVANTI, an AI-based tool for HR and skills development, to support local stakeholders—such as artisans, designers, and community members—in acquiring the skills needed to engage in circular economy practices. Through these activities, R2M supports ReBoat’s mission to deliver a scalable and replicable model for sustainable island ecosystems.
