Cécile Barrère

Cécile holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU Trondheim-Norway) and a master’s degree in Applied Geophysics from the University Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris VI-France). With 15 years of international experience, she has worked in Norway, France and Spain. Rich with a doble experience in research and industry, Cécile has developed a strong interest for energy related technologies and research valorization. She is an expert in data integration and new business development projects involving countries in Africa and South America (2005-2017). From 2018 to 2020 she worked as project economist. She can efficiently analyze project components and KPIs to detect added-value levers. At the meeting point between universities, business and student communities, Cecile has also served as board member of the NTNU Alumni Spain group since 2018 promoting collaborations in education and innovation projects . In November 2020, she joined the French branch of R2M Solution as Project Manager and Business Developer and will focus on connecting European research projects to society’s need of innovations to tackle the energy transition. She allows R2M Solution to broaden its project spectrum.
