Federica Franzè holds MSc degree in Building and Architectural Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and she collaborated with Alta Scuola Politecnica in a research project for new strategies of healing environments in healthcare facilities. Due to her academic background, she has developed skills in the macro areas of both building design and built environment. Particularly, related to (eco)logical strategies for smart and sustainable buildings at the nexus of health, energy and sustainability. She attended to an experimental course in sustainable and smart design with Drexel University of Philadelphia. She also has a great passion for innovation and research focused in the improvement of human well-being inside buildings. Additionally, she worked for several design, architectural and engineering firms as project engineer in Italy and abroad in Panama City and Cuba. Since 2018, she works for R2M Solution in Energy & Sustainability Division.
Federica is part of the team Energy & Sustainability division. In particular she is managing WELL and LEED certification process through the coordination of all disciplines involved.
She also supports project clusters to achieve sustainability requirements through CAM application into public procurement processes.
Besides, she works on energy and computational fluid dynamics modelling with the calculation software at dynamic regime “IES-VE”.
