Motivation & Impact
This overarching goal has been split into five focused objectives:
– Map out and consolidate the Smart Building Innovation Community
– Share existing and new knowledge related to smart buildings
– Provide support to stakeholders in addressing the challenges related to the implementation of the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) as a mean for defining the business case for Smart Buildings
– Prioritize the R&I topics to accelerate the roll out of smart buildings and deliver the R&I roadmap and policy recommendations
– Maximise the project impact through tailored communication, dissemination and exploitation activities
Role of R2M
R2M will lead the activities related to the mapping and consolidation of the Smart Buildings Innovation Community (WP1). R2M will also lead the identification of Smart Buildings success stories, and their widespread promotion in order to foster their exploitation (WP2). Eventually R2M will have a significant contribution to dissemination and communication activities, using its Sustainable Places International conference (yearly event co-organised by R2M) as a platform to host some of the clustering dissemination events of the project.
