Fabrizio Miano is an IT enthusiast with competences in Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Full stack Python development, system administration, and cloud
architecture. In 2018, he graduated as PhD in Experimental Particle Physics with a thesis on the extensive analysis of peta-byte scale data collected at the ATLAS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Geneva, and he has since moved on to the data science and software development domains. In fact, by the end of his PhD, as a Junior Data Scientist in collaboration with Deckchair.com, he developed an AI algorithm capable of selecting and classifying interesting images within a dataset. Fabrizio finished his academic career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Data Science at the University of Sussex, where he worked on the development of a neural network for deception detection. His professional career started as a Data scientist for Leonardo company where he led the data-science team and developed machine learning algorithms and AI solutions applied to public administration and defence.
Today, as ICT Specialist for R2M Solution, Fabrizio is currently focusing on research projects within the scopes of robotics, artificial intelligence, big data, energy saving, and IoT domains.
