Solar4CE-Cities
Boosting the urban solar revolution in Central Europe
Solar4CE-Cities aims to accelerate the deployment of decentralised photovoltaic systems in cities across Central Europe. The project develops and tests tools, models and strategies to foster prosumerism, enabling citizens, businesses and public authorities to play an active role in producing, consuming and sharing solar energy.
Particular attention is given to collective models, designed to overcome the regulatory, financial, technological and social barriers that still limit the uptake of urban photovoltaics.
R2M Solution:
- provides technical support to the Municipality of Udine;
- contributes to the GIS-based assessment of the local solar potential;
- supports the development of scenarios and business models for solar energy deployment;
- supports the preparation of the Local Solar Action Plan.
R2M Solution also contributes to stakeholder engagement and co-creation workshops, as well as to the dissemination and exploitation of the project results.
