Alice Mariani

Alice Mariani is ian Energy Efficiency and Building Sustainability Consultant. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, she completed her Master’s degree in Building Systems Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2026. Her innovative thesis focused on optimizing clustering procedures for the large-scale application of dynamic simulation during the pre-assessment phase of energy retrofit interventions. Today, within the Energy Division, Alice integrates the use of advanced software such as IES VE and ICL iCD to develop energy efficiency scenarios, supporting Public-Private Partnership projects and the strategic planning of retrofit scenarios. In parallel, she collaborates with the Sustainability Division, managing sustainability certifications, Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) analyses, and Life Cycle Assessments to evaluate the carbon footprint of buildings.

Main area of activity in R2M:

At R2M Solution, Alice focuses on energy modeling using iCD and IES VE to provide consultancy for energy retrofit planning, public tenders, and sustainability certifications. She also conducts IEQ (Indoor Environmental Quality), LCA, and Carbon Footprint analyses for sustainability reporting. Additionally, she develops BACS and SRI due diligence to assess building intelligence, automation, and control levels.
