Omais Abdur Rehman is a mechanical engineer hailing from Pakistan. He holds a dual degree masters from EIT InnoEnergy ‘Energy Transition’ program. He is currently in his final year of PhD and works with heat pumps and thermal energy storage. His experience constitutes a diverse range of working environments i.e. from a multi-national oil-and-gas firm (WEATHERFORD INTERNATIONAL) to a startup (BIN-E) and to a research-oriented atmosphere (CNR ITAE). He joined R2M in 2023 as EU Project Task Leader.
Main area of activity in R2M:
In R2M, Omais will collaborate with innovation division and provide support in three EU projects namely ‘MINISTOR’, ‘DENIM’ and ‘TRENIFLEX’.
