Carola Bosio is a Managerial Engineer with double degree from Politecnico di Milano and Ecole Centrale de Lille (2004) and holds a Master in Energy Management (Politecnico di Milano, 2015). She has four years of experience in the finance sector in which she started her career (2005-2009) working at The Royal Bank of Scotland and the M&A boutique Vitale & Co. She has then acquired seven years of experience in the utility sector (2009-2015) thanks to her previous roles as Planning Manager at Elettra Produzione, an Italian energy producer. In the framework of her Master, she was assigned by ABB to a study on the impact of the Eco-Design Directive aiming at studying the environmental performance of transformers throughout their life cycle (focus on product design phase). She also worked for two years at Limerick Institute of Technology as Project Officer on European funded projects focused on sustainable energy solutions (2017-2019). Her main tasks included the preparation of projects’ proposals (H2020, Interreg, Erasmus +), market research and sector studies (e.g. Interreg NPA Project FREED); project management tasks (e.g. Interreg Atlantic Area Project Triple-C), search of private funding and financial partners, techno-economic assessments in relation to thermoelectric cogenerative plants, development of innovative solutions to address energy challenges including stimulating SME investment in energy efficiency, demonstration of new technologies and financing solutions (H2020 SPEEDIER). In October 2019, she joins R2M Solution as Project Manager and Business Developer.
Main area of activity in R2M:
Carola is involved in different EU-funded projects on sustainable energy solutions and circular economy; she contributes to the development of consulting activities for the French branch of the company.
